The Croatian National Tourism Board’s promotional video ‘Ambassadors of Croatian Tourism’, which was shown for the first time in November last year in conjunction with its appearance at the WTM fair in London and which over short period has notched up a multi-million rating on foreign outbound markets, has been nominated by ‘Travel Video Awards’ in the sub-category of ‘Best Video by a Tourism Organisation.’ Along with the CNTB’s video also nominated are ‘Rhythms of Peru’ (Kuoda Travel), ‘Sabrosura’ (Visit Columbia) and ‘North America’ (Jordan Tourism Board).
“We are proud that our latest promotional video, in which globally recognisable Croatian stars, ambassadors of Croatian tourism participate, has been nominated for this prestigious global award. For us this nomination represents professional satisfaction, as well as proof of our creativity and innovativeness, i.e. the confirmation from the foreign profession that in the Croatian National Tourism Board, along with our partners, we are creating top internationally recognisable promotional material”, said the Director of the CNTB Head Office Kristjan Staničić and then called upon everyone to support with their votes the video in which Croatia as an attractive tourist destination is presented by Luka Modrić, Mario Mandžukić, Ivan Rakitić, Mateo Kovačić, Dean Lovren, Marin Čilić, Dario Šarić, Maksim Mrvica, Zrinka Cvitešić and 2CELLOS in the best possible light.
‘Travel Video Awards’ is an organisation which was founded by foreign independent filmmakers and brands from around the world which award innovative and inspirational videos. The awards are allocated in two main categories, in other words, in a category assigned for the works of independent authors (‘Independent Track’), which is divided into four sub-categories and a category assigned for the works of companies (‘Industry Track’), and which is divided into five sub-categories.
The online voting system is open until 31 March 2018 via this link, and the ceremonial allocation of awards will be held on 9 April 2018 in Las Vegas.
