The promotional video of the Croatian National Tourist Board, “Croatia Full of Wellbeing”, was named the best national tourism film at the 20th International Tourism Film Festival - ITF’CRO, and received the “Baldo Čupić” award. The awarding ceremony took place in the President Hotel in Solin, and the above mentioned work was named the best one among strong competitors, films from more than 50 countries.
The Director of the Head Office of the CNTB, Kristjan Staničić, commented the award: "I am extremely pleased that the members of the international jury recognized this work of the Croatian National Tourist Board and awarded it with this valuable recognition. It is certain that this award will serve both as professional satisfaction in terms of the recognized quality of our work, but also as a motivation in the further activity of the Croatian National Tourist Board. Croatia’s promotion through high-quality video materials represents a very important segment in our promotional activities, and we will accordingly continue to invest a lot in this segment of promotion".
The director of the awarded promotional video is Hrvoje Serdar, and the video itself shows in an effective way the wellness tourism product, in the overall duration of one minute and nine seconds. We would like to remind that the best Croatian national tourist film is traditionally awarded the prestigious national award of this festival, "Baldo Čupić”, which was established in 2002 in memory of the late Baldo Čupić, one of the most awarded authors of the festival and international tourist film festivals.
In addition, together with the “ITF'CRO 2017", Solin hosted two more international events: the 24th INTERSTAS’2017 - the International Festival of Tourism, Film and Landscape, and the 15th KEA-CRO'2017 - the presentation of Croatian candidates in the competition for the International Golden Flower and the special award "Dr. Lucija Čikeš".
