The m&i Private Forum is one of the leading events specialized in the congress industry and was held in Dubrovnik from October 9 to 12, which gathered over 250 participants. The organizer of the event was the British agency Worldwide Events, which with the host of Sun Gardens hotel and was supported by the Croatian National Tourist Board and the DMC agency Korkyra Travel and the company FIFI sound, and attracted leading European buyers and top MICE exhibitors to this event, who had the opportunity to participate in discussions, exchange knowledge and experience, as well as create new business relationships. Among the 13 Croatian companies that participated in the workshop were some of the largest hotel companies Valamar, Maistra, Amadria Park, Liburnia Hotels & Villas and Falkensteiner.
The Dubrovnik Sun Gardens, which are also part of the prestigious chain "The Leading Hotels of The World", served as the venue for this event, so the organizers were offered an excellent selection of modern hotel rooms, apartments and residences, as well as a multitude of facilities, including one of the best conference centres in the region with a large selection of halls for meetings and events. The choice of Dubrovnik as the host of such a prestigious meeting of professionals in the congress industry confirms its status as one of the most attractive destinations in Europe, both in terms of tourism and MICE tourism.
After the workshop and business meetings, in cooperation with m&i and the Katarina line agency, tours are scheduled for 5 buyers specialized in incentive travel, to whom the option of business travel on large ships with exclusive cabins will be presented. The cruise tour starts on the island of Pelješac, and includes a visit and tour of the islands of Hvar and Brač, where meetings will be organized with representatives of the hotel companies Sunčani Hvar and Blue Sun Hotels. The aforementioned will also be an opportunity for additional promotion and presentation of the unique offering of the two islands, and at the very end of the tour, a stay and tour of Split is planned, where the participants will visit several well-known hotels such as Hotel Park, Hotel Cornaro, Hotel Briig, Hotel Le Meridien Lav and the new hotel Ambassador. In addition to the visits to hotels, guests will also visit the famous Meštrović Gallery and Diocletian's Cellars as special venues for organizing events.
In addition, all the partners with whom the Croatian Congress Office held meetings, are invited to participate in the upcoming MEETEX 2023, the only specialized B2B event for the MICE industry, which is attended by leading Croatian entities that are part of business tourism in Croatia, and among the participants are also international customers interested in organizing business events in Croatia.
