Croatia Is A Hit Destination On The Swedish Market

As announced in numerous media in Sweden, amongst which Aftonbladet is one of the most read daily newspapers, Croatia is a hit destination for 2018 on the Swedish market. Namely, according to research and current sales, Croatian destinations are recording a rise in sales, which suggests how many Swedish tourists, who until now have spent their holidays in Spain or Greece, will, in fact, choose Croatia as their travel destination in 2018.

It is a continuation of the positive trends noted during 2017 when from the Swedish market 312,000 arrivals and 1.7 million overnight stays were made compared to 2016, representing a rise of 16% in arrivals and 13% in overnight stays. Namely, the leading Swedish tour operators at this time are recording better sales of Croatian destinations than in the same period last year, and the continuation of positive trends is expected all year round, particularly in the summer part of the season. In achieving positive results, the new flight connections which will connect key Croatian and Swedish destinations will also have a key role.
