The Croatian National Tourist Board organized annual meeting of Congress Ambassadors and members of the Council of the Croatian Congress Ambassador Program (CCA), which took place on January 16th at the Esplanade Zagreb Hotel. The Ambassador program is implemented in cooperation between the Croatian Convention Bureau and the Croatian Meeting Professionals Association (CMPA) and local convention bureaus, within a joint dinner is organized once a year with the aim of networking ambassadors, developing the profession and exchanging knowledge and experiences.
The main topics of this year's meeting were activities and support for congress ambassadors by the convention bureaus of CNTB, City of Zagreb, Dubrovnik and Opatija, as well as the presentation of the role of PCO (professional congress organizer) agencies in the organization of business gatherings. The gala dinner was attended by nine ambassadors who exchanged expectations and trends in the field of congress tourism. Meetings like this are an excellent incentive for ambassadors to continuously promote Croatia in various professional and scientific circles as an ideal destination for holding small and medium-sized professional business gatherings.
The CCA program includes many prominent experts from various fields of activity who, with their reputation and international activity, can influence the hosting of international congresses and conferences. The activities of the CCA program are aimed at providing support to the actions and activities of ambassadors in global associations, all with the aim of bringing international business gatherings to Croatia.
